• Please pray for Richard Ignacio and family. Richard is a student at UCO from Guam. Has agreed to donate a kidney to his brother, but brother is too ill for surgery. Also, his baby was born dead yesterday.

We have two requests today:

• Update on Sonja Walker. Sonja passed away. Please pray for her husband that is now home from Iraq, their children, and family.
• Please pray for everything concerning the closing on Earnie, LaDawn, and Sydnee Baten's house and their move goes smoothly. Closing date is Friday, May 28th.

• Please pray for our adoption of Lizzie and Justin.  We just found out yesterday that the parents have filed an appeal.  Please pray that all paper work is turned in quickly and that the appeal court stands by the ruling of the judge.  Thank you so much for your prayers!  Sherry Bullard

• Please pray for Sonja Walker and family. She is in critical condition, and the family needs to make decisions about her health.

• Please pray for Mark Devers who has brain cancer and tumors.  He is in serious condition and needs a miracle healing. Pray for his family also.
• Please pray for the family of Sondra Ezzell.
• Please pray for a family who lost an elderly dad and an elderly mom this last weekend.

• Jack Tregellas had a pacemaker replaced yesterday.  Please pray for him and his recovery.
• Evelyn Heare, Rita Tregellas’ mother, had knee replacement yesterday.  Pray for her recovery.
• Hi,

My sister is out of surgery and has just been moved from recovery to ICU. The doctor said the surgery went well. He said he was surprised she wasn't having more problems because of the amount of pressure the aneurysm was exerting on her optic nerve.  I'm not surprised, though, because we serve an awesome God Who alone deserves all the glory! Thank you so much for your prayers and your continued prayer as she recovers.

• Geneva Kizzia passed away yesterday.  Please pray for her family during this time.  Her services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, here at Community Worship Center.  A lunch will be served to the family at noon in the fellowship hall.
• Jan Matson, Randi Allen’s mother, will start chemo this week.  Please pray for her.
• Lynda Karber needs prayer for her health.
• On online request for a woman who needs prayer for her health and a job.

• Please pray for Edna Lee Grimmer.  She has an infection and is in OGH.
• Please pray for Geneva Kizza.  She had a stroke last night and is in OGH.
• Please pray for Jack Tracy who has a severe infection in his foot.  He is diabetic and they may have to amputate. 
• Please continue to pray for Jim Taylor, who has cancer.  His family is believing for a miracle for him.

• Kim Francis’ sister, Kichi Duffy, surgery is scheduled for this coming Monday, May 17th, @ 12:15 p.m. They are only going to operate on the largest aneurysm behind her right eye then. They will see how she does and then schedule a second surgery for the second aneurysm behind her left eye. Thank you so much for lifting her up to the Lord.

 

Is any one of your in trouble? He should pray.  Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.  Is any one of you sick?  He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.  If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.  Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.  The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.   James 4:13-16

• Update on Donna Barlow...She has been moved to Bivins Rehab Center in Amarillo. The Dr. moved her there to help her get her strength back. She is still on oxygen and antibiotics. Praising the Lord for what He has already done for her! Please continue your prayers.
• Mike Flowers, Velma Wiley’s son, has a collapsed lung and needs prayer for healing.
• Velma Wiley is having shoulder replacement.  Please pray for her healing.

 

Though the Lord is on high, he looks

Pray for Josh Howard, Andy Francis’ son. He is to have a tumor removed from his tongue next Tuesday. Pray that it will not be malignant.

We have several more requests for prayer:

• Richard & Judy Collins son in law, Jim Taylor, was told today that he has a large tumor on his left jaw that is in the bone. It cannot be operated on, and they need to decide if they want to pursue chemo treatment or not.
• Susan Delk is in hospice care at OGH.  Please pray for God's comfort and peace.
• PRAISE... Sherry Bullard just called to say the judge denied any rights of the children to the biological parents. They must wait 30 days to see if the parents will appeal the judge's decision before this is final... THIS IS WHAT THEY WERE HOPING!!! Praise the Lord!

Updates, Requests and Praise

Good Afternoon:

We have several requests and updates and a praise:

• Thank you for lifting up my brother Bobby Hamilton in prayer. He is no longer experiencing the headaches and his cat scan came back clear! 

Praise the Lord!!!

My sister's (Kichi Duffy) angiogram is scheduled for Monday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m. They will not schedule the surgery for the brain aneurysm until they've done this procedure. I appreciate your continued prayers for her and her family.

It is such a blessing to have a church family that sacrificially lifts up others in prayer. Thank you!!!

• Please pray for Scarlett and Avonlea who have both been sick for about a month now.
• Sherry Bullard wanted everyone to pray for their court hearing on custody of Elizabeth and Justin. She called at 6:30 pm Monday night to say that the hearing has been continued tomorrow morning at 9 am. This simply means that they didn't get done today, and will be back in court tomorrow for the final decision.
• Update on Donna Barlow--She is now in ICU. With the pneumonia she also had a slight heart attack. Please continue to pray for her healing.
• Please pray for 8 yr. old Tyler Catherall. He is a liver transplant recipient after a virus got into his liver and caused it to fail. Please pray for his recovery. His white counts are elevated. They are not sure if his body is rejecting the new liver or whatever attacked his liver to begin with in attacking the new liver.
• Please pray for Bella Cortez who is having health problems.  She is going to Dallas next week and may need surgery some time soon. 
• Please pray for Glenna Pool who is having some health problems.
