URGERNT

We just received this from Aspen on Wes

This is a post from Aspen’s facebook.  Please Pray, Pray, Pray!!!

Aspen write 9 minutes ago - PEOPLE--I'm going to tell you that we are desperate for prayer. Please pray for kidneys that are doing worse, lungs that are developing pneumonia, gut that is not looking good, and a laundry list of other things. And ourselves, who are being forced to make hard decisions. Please do not call--just pray and pass the word along. We need a miracle.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

Prayer requests

Good Afternoon:

We have a request today:

  • Jim Taylor is in the hospital with pneumonia in one lung and a staph infection in his tract.  Please pray for him and his family during this difficult time.

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;

   His faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 100:5

Update

Good Afternoon:

We have another update on Wes Anderson—please continue to pray for him and his family and the doctors who are taking care of him.

  • Update, 11:20am Thursday--We are waiting for dad to have some fluid sucked out of his lungs with a big needle. Sounds horrifying, but it should help him breathe. There ARE risks that come along with this procedure, so please pray that everything goes well. We are quite frustrated with the setback, but still know that you all are praying and that God is still God. GO KIDNEYS GO!!!

Come, let us bow down in worship,

   let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;

for he is our God

    and we are the people of his pasture,

    the flock under his care.

Psalm 95:6-7

Update

Good Afternoon:

The following is an update from Cindy Anderson on Wes.  Please continue to pray for them.

  • Although his creatinine level rose a little more yesterday, they think his kidneys have started to plateau and after that they should start to improve soon. His heart is good and his mind seems to be normal... so far. There is a possibility that he could have had a stroke but we'll know more with time. Thank you all for raising Wes up to Him. God has heard your prayers!

Praise the Lord,

Praise the Lord, O my soul,

    I will praise the Lord all my life;

    I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.

Psalm 146:1-2

    • God would continue to bless the camp this week and lives would be changed.

    and crowns you with love and compassion,

Requests

Good Evening:

The following are needs for prayer:

  • Please continue to pray for Wes Anderson.  He is in very critical condition.  Pray for Cindy, Aspen and David, and Abby and Jack, and the rest of their family.  Pray also for his doctors and caregivers.
  • Jesse asks prayer for Junior who started therapy for his new prosthesis.
  • Camp Good News is this coming week, July 19-23rd.  Here are some prayer requests sent in by Tina Buschman:

    1.  Please pray for my daughter Anita and granddaughter Hallie (age 2 3/4)  to be well.  Hallie has had upper respiratory infection this week, having difficulty in breathing.  This is the sickest we've ever seen her so it is hard on Anita right now.  Anita is extra tired and so is not feeling well, besides being 8 1/2 months pregnant.  It is hard for me to have full excitement for camp and also know I'll be away from being a help to Anita during this time knowing she is stressed and Hallie is sick.  [Anita is scheduled for a c-section on July 28th.  However, if the baby should come early, I do have things organized that I can leave camp to assist Caleb and Anita and help with Hallie.]

    2.  Please pray for safety and protection for every camper and staff member.  This is one of the largest camps we've had in a few years, which is exciting.  At this point we have about 75 campers and over 25 staff.

    3.  Please pray for the Pastors who will be coming to share in our evening services that God will bless them as they prepare, and that they will have joy as they present Bible lessons to the children.  I appreciate prayers for myself, too, as I help lead the evening services and then teach on Thursday evening.  Tabitha Lee and Heidi Froshheiser will also be helping with the services, and I know they'd appreciate prayers in their parts, too.

    4.  Please pray for the Lord to give us good weather and cooler temperatures.  He is faithful, and I praise Him for how He knows just what is best.

    5.  Please pray that God will bless each one at camp with good health, and that our nurse won't be very busy.  Right-click here to download pictures. To help protect your privacy, Outlook prevented automatic download of this picture from the Internet.

    6.  Please pray that the Holy Spirit will work in the hearts and lives of every child coming to camp.  He knows just what each one needs.  May we as staff be faithful to live in a way pleasing to the Lord that the children will be drawn to Christ and following Him more.

    7.  Please pray for Ronny Baldwin (and wife Bunny) as he directs camp for the first time.  Please pray for wisdom for him in dealing with any discipline issues, for the activities he leads, and for extra strength and energy.

    8.  Please pray for the teachers (Rita Carpenter, Bunny Baldwin, Tabitha and Jamie Lee, and Matthew Miller) as they present the morning Bible Lessons.

    9.  Please pray for each counselor to have patient endurance, great wisdom, and supernatural strength throughout the week.  Pray that they will truly love every child in their group with the love of Christ.

    I know that God will also give you insight as to what else to pray for.  Thank you so much that I can bring requests to you as members of the Body of Christ!  I know from experience that Camp Good News cannot happen successfully without the love and prayers of all of you.  You truly are a vital part of the ministry of camp!

Thank you for your continued prayer support!!  God is still in the prayer answering business!

Request and update

Good Afternoon:

We have an update on Wes Anderson:

Good morning all,

                Wes Anderson had a seizure during the night and had to be intubated.  He is not doing well right now.  Please lift him up for healing and lift Cindy up for peace and strength.  Wes had to have 7 units of blood due to a bleeding ulcer.  He is on blood thinners, so that makes the situation even more dangerous.  Thank you for your prayers.  Blessings, PT

Please continue to pray for the Anderson family.

But let all who take refuge in you be glad;

    let them ever sing for joy,

Spread your protection over them,

    that those who love your name may

        rejoice in you.

For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous;

    you surround them with your favor as

Oh the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!

How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!

Who has known the mind of the Lord?

Or who has been his counselor?

Who has ever given to god that God should repay him?

For from him and through him and to him are all things.

To him be the glory forever! Amen

Requests

Good Afternoon:

We have several requests today:

·        Help Change America this July 4th

America is in deep trouble.. Consider the following:

Environmental disaster of epic proportion in the Gulf of Mexico
Economic struggles with unemployment at nearly 10%
Protracted bloody wars in Iraq and Afghanistan
Political leadership bent on promoting what God forbids

We are a broken nation full of broken people who have broken God's laws and God's heart. Consequently, in these difficult days, the Lord has continued to impress upon me the great need for us, as followers of Jesus Christ, to take responsibility for the broken state of our nation and go to God for help because He is the only one who can help. Yet we must go to God on His terms: in humility, prayer, and repentance as outlined in 2 Chronicles 7:14. We must begin on our knees. That is why we have re-launched the "Call2Fall" for Sunday, July 4th.

Visit www.Call2Fall.com and click "I'm in" to participate in this nationwide prayer movement. The very day we celebrate our "Independence," we need to re-declare our "Dependence" upon God in humble and repentant prayer. At minimum, we hope that you will spend at least a few minutes literally on your knees in prayer for our nation during worship services on Sunday, July 4th, 2010.

Can you help us spread the word about Call2Fall? Please take a couple of minutes and send an email to your family and at least five of your friends.. Ask your church leaders to sign-up your church to be a part of Call2Fall. There are already hundreds of thousands of individuals and churches planning to participate. Will you join us?

Visit www.Call2Fall.com and click on "I'm in" and encourage five friends to do the same. Can you imagine what God would do if millions of Christians all across our land would actually do this and mean it?

Expectantly,

Tony Perkins
President

·        Thank you for praying for RW Women's Walk #78. God did a tremendous work in the lives of many women this past weekend. Your prayers are so important and appreciated. Blessings! Debbie Symons, Lay Director

·        Unspoken

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.  Galatians 6:9-10
