• Keith and Heidi Barkman, who are missionaries in Brazil with the Bora people, have asked us to pray for Isadora who was bitten by a Jararaca, Pit Viper on the foot last evening, Nov. 16.  She is 5 months pregnant.  They have been promised that by authorities that they will send an air medivac unit this morning Nov. 17.  Please pray for her, her unborn child and the medical team there in the village.  Thanks, Gayla Grunau

 There are times that we need to unite in prayer for a particular nation. Please realize that Prayer Storm goes into 75 different nations each week and I always state to adapt things for your state, province or nation. But with the pivotal U. S. national elections coming up, I want us around the globe to join in prayer for my nation’s elections coming up soon on November 6th. To those receiving this within the U. S., PLEASE VOTE! Faith without corresponding actions is dead. It is not enough to PRAY. We must get out and VOTE! Let’s add works to our faith and vote according to righteousness. As you vote, ask the Lord for guidance and that the powers of demonic deception be broken in the name of Jesus.

 Pray for the Following:

 1. As cream rises to the top of milk, that God’s choice will be evident and Christians will arise out of apathy and vote by Biblical standards, faith and their conscience.

 2. That there not be voter fraud with fake I. D.’s, etc.

 3. That the military vote comes in safely with no hindrance.

 4. That there will be clarity in the final debates and the choice concerning LIFE, ISRAEL, and the ECONOMY is made clear to all the respective voters.

 5. Pray for the Senate and House races for the U. S. Congress and for the state and local elections as well along the same strategic lines. Joining you on the walls!

Request, Updates and Praises

We have requests, updates and praises:

• Margie and my nephew, Ben Mack, is still in Hawaii waiting to fly back to Massachusetts on Thursday to have surgery on his broken leg.  He is still in excruciating pain and waiting on the swelling to go down in order for him to have the surgery.  The airline is not working with them at all on letting them upgrade in order for him to be able to keep his leg elevated.   Please pray for him as he has not been able to sleep due to the pain.  They already know that he is probably going to have multiple surgeries as well as rehab when he gets back home and their insurance is minimal – to say the least. Pastor Tim

·        UPDATE with Ben Mack : Ben's Pilon fracture of his right tibia is still very painful, and temporarily splinted. We have seen an orthopedic surgeon here on Oahu, and he confirmed that the fracture would indeed need surgery. Lack of insurance coverage out of state and the need to let inflammation decrease before any surgery is performed means that Ben will be flying home with a splinted leg.
PLEASE PRAY FOR A MIRACLE THAT WOULD LET US FLY BEN HOME FIRST CLASS OR SIMILAR, TO ALLOW FOR NEEDED LEG ELEVATION. (Pray for financial provision to make this possible) ALSO PRAY FOR DECREASED INFLAMMATION, DECREASED PAIN AND RESTFUL SLEEP. (Peace of mind and spirit)
As we wait for airline plans to solidify, we are working to open an accident/injury claim with our Aflack policy. Please pray that this process is smooth and swift. We are looking at MONTHS of post-surgical recovery followed by months of rehab. It could be 12 weeks before Ben is able to work again.

• Michael Rutz is in Amarillo today seeing the surgeon who will be performing surgery on his knee in a few weeks.  He fell at work a few weeks ago and has torn his knee up as well as he has a cyst on his knee.  Please pray for him as he goes through this process and procedure. 

 

• PRAISE—We had 212 students last night at VBS!!!!  This is a record high for first night of VBS.  Please continue to pray that children’s lives and their families will be change for the glory of the Lord.
