Request

Good Afternoon:

We need to pray for the following:

·        Please be in prayer for Judy Schell.  She just received a call from her doctor that the biopsy that he ran on Monday showed malignant cancer in the lining of her uterus.  She is waiting to have an appt. scheduled with a surgeon to see how advance or severe that it is.  We know a God who heals, so let’s bombard His throne on behalf of our sister and pray for His healing touch on her.  Blessings, PT

·        Hello again all,

I just talked to Michael.  His surgery went well and they are on their way home.  He was able to have it done laproscopically (PTL) and will be immobile for probably 3 weeks.  Continue to lift him up and pray for them as they travel home that they will get here before the storm gets too intense.   Thank you for your prayers.

Requests

Good afternoon:

We have some requests for prayer today.

  • Please pray for my niece, Layla Smith.  She is three years old and has been diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.  She will be undergoing anesthesia tomorrow and will have the fluid from her knee drained to hopefully help her to have use of that joint again.  Her knee has been swollen for weeks and they have finally determined the cause for this and will be medicating her and then treating the symptoms as they arise.
  • Also, please be in prayer for my dad, Bob.  He was told yesterday that he has cancer in both lungs which is secondary to cancer somewhere else in his body.  Because of his compromised condition and health, there is nothing they can do for him.  He is currently in OGH with pneumonia and they are treating him for it.  He has been on an antibiotic for over a week.  Please lift my Mom and our entire family up during this time and struggle.

Thanks for the prayers.

Hear my cry, O God;

Listen to my prayer.

From the ends of the earth I call to you.

For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe.

Requests and updates

Good Afternoon:

We have an update and some requests:

·        I am preparing for my mission trip to Hungary.  I leave January 13th from Amarillo.  As I prepare my lessons this week, I'd love prayer for wisdom in planning the Good News Club schedule and lessons, and that I will be able to fit everything I need to take into my allowed luggage!  Thanks Tina Buschman

  • Update on Marvella Smith, Gayla Busch’s mother:  her blood pressure is unstable, her lungs still have fluid, but she is feeling better.  She is in a regular room.  Please pray that the doctors will find what is causing these problems and for her complete recovery.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.   Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.   Galatians 6:9-10
