Requests

Good Afternoon:

We have several requests this afternoon:

  • Update on Kichi (pronounced Kiki) Duffy - My Sister: She met with one of the doctors (Dr. West) at the Swedish Hospital today. They are going to do an angiogram either tomorrow or the next day. She is a little nervous about that. Dr. West said they needed to get the surgery on her brain aneurysm scheduled soon, so it could be as early as the first part of next week. I would appreciate your continued prayers for her as she goes through all of this. Thank you for your prayers!

  • Willy Lopez has been placed in hospice care in Amarillo. Kimberly and Florintino have asked that we respect their privacy, and continue to lift them up in prayer. They know that God is with them, and are confident that God is in control.
    Pastor Mike
  • Jarrod needs to make some decisions.  Please pray that God will direct in these matters.

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

  • Good morning all,

                Please be in prayer for the Grunau family.  Clayton’s dad, Cliff, is at the point of death at OGH.  The doctors can do nothing else to help remove the fluid on his body.  He is non-responsive and so the family is waiting on the Lord to take Cliff home.  Please remember Polly, Cliff’s wife of nearly 69 years as well as Clayton, his brother, and sister and the extended family.  Praise the Lord for the faithful servant that Cliff has been and praise Him for the comfort that He is going to be to Cliff’s family.  Thank you all for your prayers.  PT

O God, you are my God,

    Earnestly I seek you;

My soul thirsts for you,

    My body longs for you

In a dry and weary land

    Where there is no water.

When I was in distress, I sought the Lord;

Then I thought, “To this I will appeal;

   the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

I will remember the deeds of the Lord;

I will meditate on all your works

Request

Good Afternoon:

We have one request:

  • Bill Skaggs is having an angiogram procedure today between 12-1 p.m.  Please pray for him and Bette.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them.  And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.   We implore you on Christ’s behalf; Be reconciled to God.  God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21
