Good Afternoon:

We have several things to pray for:

• Please pray for Darrie Francis.  She goes back for a check up and further tests to M.D. Anderson in Houston in June.  Pray that she will be cancer free.  She did receive a report this week that there is some type of leukemia.  Pray that this is not the case.  She believes that she is cancer free.  Let’s believe with her that this is true.
• Please pray for Nancy Molina who has cancer.  Pray for her salvation and healing.
• Please pray for Olivia for healing her disease.
• Please pray for Christina that God would heal her.
• Thursday, May 2 is National Day of Prayer.  Please be in prayer for our country, our state, our town, our leaders, our churches, our military, and our schools and universities.  Verse for this year is “This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.” Psalms 91:2

• Please pray for Steve Broussard who was airlifted to Lubbock Burn Unit with second degree burns.  Pray also for his wife Staci and daughter Tressa who traveling to be with him.

• Please pray for Jan Hickey.  She has been moved back to OGH.  They have asked for no visitors at this time.
• Please pray for the Women’s Walk to Emmaus that starts this evening.  We have several women working this walk.
• Update on Pastor Mike: He had a good night last night.  The doctors are monitoring his medications for the next 3 days. Please continue to pray for him and Betty.
• The funeral services for Zach Mills will be here at Community Worship Center tomorrow at 2:30.  Please continue to pray for his family.

• Please pray for comfort for the family of Francis Reidle.  Her husband is Don, her daughters are Connie Wilson and Rhonda Wears and her son is Ronnie Reidle.

We have this request:

• Please pray for healing of a slipped vertebrae in my lower back which is compressing nerves. I am praying that surgery will not be necessary, and for the Lord to heal me. I will need a miracle for my spine to come back into proper alignment. Also, please pray for God to reverse any damage from my chiropractor and for His protection during sessions. Thank you for your prayers.

• Please pray for a family who needs reliable transportation.  They also need their existing car to stay operational.
• Please pray for comfort for the Zach Mills family.  He passed away this morning.
• Please remember the 24 hour prayer vigil that starts at 7:00 pm tonight and goes through Wednesday night at 7:00.  If you did not sign up, you still can pray.  We are praying for Pastor Mike and his health issues, our church, and our country.

• Praise report for my brother, Lee Barlow: After biopsy surgery on Tuesday...NO CANCER was found!! PTL!! However, he does have Sarcoidosis and he will be seeing a lung specialist to find out more about the treatment for this disease. Please join me in prayer for his complete healing!! Thanks, Lois Bartz
• Please pray for Lois Stroup, Gary Bartz sister, she will have a heart cath next week—possible stint and a hysterectomy which there is possible cancer.
