Requests and Updates

Good Afternoon:

We have some requests and updates:

  • Please pray for Isis, Jesse Land’s niece, who is having her tonsils removed today.
  • Please pray for Ethel McConnell, Kym Adair’s grandmother, who is having health complications.
  • UPDATE from NICARAGUA: Nicaragua: Great day at the orphanage and cancer hospital yesterday. A mother of one of the cancer patients invited Jesus to be the Lord of her life! Building teams will finish two houses today. Pray for a woman on our team who has major blisters. Pray for strength as we've had 2 really late nights. Today we will be ministering to the kids/teachers at the school for kids who live in the dump ground. Please pray!
  • Please pray for RAIN!  It is critical that we receive rain soon!

 

 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:19-20

We have one request:

  • Please be in prayer for Scott Barton. He sustained a neck injury several months ago and a recent MRI shows a cervical disc protrusion and mild flattening of the spinal cord. We are seeing a neurologist tomorrow (Thursday) and may need to go to Albuquerque to see a neurosurgeon.

We have some requests:

  • Please continue to pray for Shea Pletcher.  He had back surgery this morning.  Also remember David and Mandy, his parents, and their loss of their home from the tornados yesterday in Oklahoma.
  • Please continue to pray for those victims of the storms the last few days in Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri.  There are still missing people and much destruction to be cleaned up. 
  • Please pray for those who have to be out in this wind we are having today, for safety and protection and no wildfires.
  • Please pray for Bo Dorman and his health.

We have some needs:

  • Please pray for David and Mandy Pletcher.  Their house was hit by a tornado this afternoon.
  • Please pray for protection for those in Oklahoma.  There are many tornados and severe storms.
  • Please add Kelsie Orr to the prayer list.  She is having serious health problems and her Mom, Ellen, has taken her to Jacksonville, FL to the Mayo Clinic to see if they can determine what is wrong.

We have some needs today:

  • Please pray for Bo Dorman.  He is going into the hospital to be evaluated.  Please pray the doctors will be able to find out the cause of his medical conditions.
  • Online request: Please pray for Lil Renfro and family. She had a hemorrhagic stroke doing surgery in morning with a 70% chance of making it out of surgery. If she does make it she will be there 2 to 8 weeks providing she does well.

We have a couple of requests:

  • Please pray for Terry and Gay Danley for comfort and peace.  Gay’s dad, Grady Reece passed away last night. Pray as they travel to Denver today and for Gay’s mom and family as they make arrangements.
  • Please pray for a person who is having health complications.

  • I received a text from Kim Cothren and her mom, Velma, is back at home.  She was having some gastrointestinal problems and her heart was not affected.  Thank you for your prayers.

We have a couple of requests:

  • Please pray for Dale Moyer, Sherry Bullard’s dad, who is having a cat scan today at 2:30.  He has high white blood count and abdominal pain.
  • Please pray for Velma Wiley.  She is in the ER here in Perryton and is in a lot of pain and not feeling well.  Please bombard the throne on behalf of Velma.  Thank you for your prayers.

 

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

 

URGENT

Please pray for Greg Allen. He has some major health concerns this morning.  Please pray for Randi, his wife and his daughter, Lea as the travel to Lubbock to be with him.  Pray for safety, wisdom, discernment, and peace.

  • David Stollings, Sr. went to his eye specialist and the spot they were concerned about is no longer there!  Praise the Lord!!!

  • Thursday, May 5th is the National Day of Prayer.  Please be in prayer for our local officials and leaders, our state officials and leaders, and our national officials and leaders.  We also need to remember our military and their families.  Our nation has been blessed by God for many years; let’s continue to ask for His favor and blessings our country.  Let’s also remember to seek Him and follow His ways in all that we do and say.
