Updates and requests

Good Afternoon:

We have an update and request:

  • We have had word from Beulah Stumpf that they are headed back to Duncan with Charlie.  The doctors decided to use medication rather than doing the procedure on his heart. PTL!  Continue to pray for Charlie and Beulah—they are appreciative of our prayers.
  • Please continue to pray for Michael Harris.  His surgery was canceled yesterday because of the storms in OKC.  It has been rescheduled for next week.  If you would like to help cheer the Harris’ up, we are collecting cards, letters, magazines, books, etc. here at the CWC information desk.  This package of goodies will be taken to Michael on early Friday morning.  Thank you for your help!

Praise the Lord.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;

   His love endures forever.

Who can proclaim the might acts of the

   Lord or full declare his praise?

My heart is not proud, O Lord,

   my eyes are not haughty;

I do not concern myself with great matters

   or things too wonderful for me.

But I have stilled and quieted my soul;

   like a weaned child with its mother,

  like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Psalm 131:1-2

  • Please pray for unspoken request.

Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again:  Rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all.   The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:4-7
