We have one request:

• Rose Spies of Amarillo and Christi Pickett’s mother is having surgery on her arm today.  Please pray for her and her recovery.

Good Afternoon:

We have a request this afternoon:

• Please pray for 1 year old Eli Acosta who was born with Holoprocenecephly.  Because of this situation, he has had to have surgery on his esophagus to tighten the muscles and eliminate his reflux.  The incision has been very painful for him, and the medication is creating problems with his heart.  Please pray for his recovery and that his body will be better than new.   Pray also for his parents especially his father, Mark. 

 

I sought the Lord, and he answered me;

   He delivered me from all my fears.

Those who look to him are radiant;

   Their faces are never covered with shame.

We have one unspoken prayer need this afternoon.

 

Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous;

For the word of the Lord is right and true;

Good Rainy Afternoon!

We have two requests/updates:

• Thanks to everyone who prayed for my uncle Pat Underwood. His surgery went well yesterday. They had to remove the top lobe of his right lung and he will be at BSA in Amarillo until Monday or Tuesday.  Kim Francis
• We have an update on the 11 year old girl that is in a coma—her brain has started swelling.  Please continue to lift her and her family up for healing and recovery.
• The Women’s Walk to Emmaus starts tonight.  Teresa Hollond is the Lay Director and Jeff Hinshaw is the Spiritual Director.  Please pray for lives to be changed during this weekend.
• Thanks for all the prayers for Jean Tucker.  She is doing much better.

Dear Prayer Warriors:

We have an urgent request from Deborah McQuitty.  Deborah’s daughter, Brandi teaches with a lady whose 11 year old daughter, Dominic, is in a coma in ICU.  The doctors are unable to do much at this time because Dominic is very unstable.   She has been suffering with migraines and last night had seizures that sent her to the hospital.  Please pray for Dominic and her family and for the doctors to know what to do for this child.

• PRAISE THE LORD FOR THE RAIN!!
• Please pray for comfort for the family of Dustin Karber.  Dustin passed away last night.  His parents are Stan and Marva Karber of Balko.
• Please pray for Harrol and Avis Waterbury.  Harrol broke his leg and Avis is in Germany for cancer treatments.
• Please pray for Dale Pletcher, Jr.  He has ALS and is Tommy and Joan’s nephew. 

 

Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name;

    make known among the nations what he has done.

Sing to him, sing praise to him;

    tell of all his wonderful acts.

Glory in his holy name;  

    let the hearts of those who seek the

         Lord rejoice.

Look to the Lord and his strength;

    seek his face always.

We have several prayer needs today:

• Please pray for comfort for the family of Bruce Baumann who passed away last night.
• Please pray for Dustin Karber and his family.  Dustin is in OKC hospital and needs our prayers for his health problems.  This family lives at Balko.
• Please pray for Candice Tregellas who has pneumonia and is in the hospital.
• Please pray for Euclid Maze, Paula Lehew's dad, who is in the hospital in Lubbock with pneumonia.
• Paula Lehew called to ask us to pray for her dad's best friend, Art Griffin. Art had an accident while hunting on Monday & was shot in the foot & ankle. At this point they have told the family that he will probably lose the whole foot. Please pray for peace for Art and his family & friends - as well as praying for healing for his injuries.
• PRAISE THE LORD!!!! Wes and Cindy Anderson are going to be coming home tomorrow!!! Thank you Jesus for answered prayers.  Continue to pray for Wes’ health to improve.

• Pray for Stevie that she would be healed totally from breast cancer.
• Pray for Jennifer to know Jesus as her savior and to heal her from uterine cancer.

Good Afternoon:

We have several requests:

• Glenn Herring has bone cancer.  Please pray for him during this time.
• Connie McCartney has breast cancer.  She will be having surgery on Thursday at BSA and will have follow up with chemo or radiation.  There is good prognosis.  Please pray for her and her family during her recovery time.
• Please continue to pray for my Uncle Pat and Aunt Rita as they found that the tumor in his lung is malignant. They met with the surgeon Friday to schedule his surgery to remove the tumor in the top of his right lung. It is scheduled for Wednesday, September 22nd, and 8:00 a.m.  Thanks Kim Francis
• Danna Castor’s mother, Eva Thomas, had surgery on the arteries in her legs last Friday in OKC and is doing well.  Please continue to pray for her recovery.
