We have some needs for prayer:

• Please pray for Euclid and Shirley Maze, Paula Lehew’s parents.  They are having health problems and need our prayers.  Please also remember Paula.
• Please pray for the Ecuador Mission Team as they travel back home tomorrow.

 

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. • Please pray for Diane Pletcher, who is having pain and swelling in her knee. Please pray for complete healing for her.
• Please continue to pray for rain for Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma.

We think the computer issues are corrected now.  We have some requests:

·        Please pray for those in Colorado who are experiencing the fires.  Pray for rain and that the fires will be contained today.

·        Pray for rain for our area also.  Pray for those who have to be out in the heat.  If you know of someone who does not have air-conditioning, please check on them.

• Thank you all for praying for my mom, Joyce Ketter. Her procedure went great, her tests for cancer came back negative, and she doesn't even have to have a hysterectomy! PTL!  Angela Manross
• Please pray for the family of Debbie Hoelscher, who was killed this morning in Dallas.  Her sisters are Donie Bollin, Becky Freeman and her brother is Mark Adair.

• Please pray for comfort for the family of Dorothy Black who passed away yesterday afternoon.
• Praise—the four students who were traveling to the Philippines to serve with Nolan and Salem Silvey made it there safely.  Please continue to pray for them: Brian Herz, Macy Hubbard, Brooke Dennis, and Bailey Robinson.

We have requests for prayer:

• Please pray for Tom Mendenhall from Turpin who is being deployed to Afghanistan again. He is a part of the explosives unit.  The main concern this trip is that the equipment either won’t be available or won’t work correctly due to all the cuts in defense.
• Please pray for Kathy Stone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

 

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. 1Timothy 2:1-2

Good Afternoon:

We have several requests:

• Trynitie Thornton asked that we be in prayer for everyone in the Ruidoso/Capitan/Nogal area of New Mexico.  The Little Bear Fire consumed a Nazarene Camp and conference center on Saturday.  The fire is still not contained and the wind is expected to change directions too.  Two of her Dad’s Aunts and Uncles were evacuated along with the rest of the campground, but they lost everything.  Thank you for praying,
• Please pray for Betty Yeager, Betty Caddel’s mom.  She has been in CCU since last Thursday with heart issues.  Today they told her that her heart is not responding to the medication.  Her heart rate is too unstable. Doctors trying to come up with a new plan.  
• Please continue to pray for the group of youth and their sponsors who are in Los Angles CA doing mission work.  Pray God will give the abilities to serve Him this week.
• Pray for the fires in Colorado also.  Pray for rain to put out the fires in Colorado and New Mexico.
• We have several groups going on mission trips this summer and two outreaches here in Perryton.  Please pray for the groups going to Ecuador, Philippines, Nicaragua, and our VBS in August and for the Go Tell Revival also in August.  God will do great things!

• Please pray for Janice Pletcher, who fell yesterday and broke her hip.  She was to have surgery today.  Please pray for healing for her.

Praise/Update

Good Evening:

We have a Praise and update:

• Gary Braxton who we have been praying for, went in for a biopsy, and the report came back there is no cancer—Praise the Lord!!  He will have another biopsy in the future to monitor his health so continue to pray that he will remain cancer free.

• Please pray for Lindey Osborne, Gayla Grunau’s brother, who has MRSA (staff infection).  He is on antibiotics, but is having to go to doctors for several treatments.  Please pray he will be fully recovered soon.
