We have two requests:

• Please pray for LaDawn Baten. She is having some problems with some of the medicine that she is taking for MS. She goes for a checkup and MRI on the 10th.
• Please pray for comfort for the Larry Vanosdol family.  Larry passed away this morning.  He is the uncle of Jason Vanosdol.

• Please be in prayer for Doris Kear today.  She is having gall bladder surgery either at 1 PM or 6PM this afternoon/evening.  She will come home today depending upon how well she does.   Thanks for your prayers.

We have one request:

• Please pray for VBS.  We will have a Rally for everyone on Sunday morning at 9:00 am to 10:00 am in the auditorium to preview the music, the stories and what all will be happening during the week.  VBS starts Monday evening at 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm.  Please pray for the children who will be coming and for all the volunteer workers.  Please also pray for cooler temperatures, and we would even take rain!  We know God has great things in store for this week ahead and we give Him praise, honor, and glory for what He is going to do!

 

Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, but Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 19:13-14

We have some requests and updates:

Dear prayer partners,

 

• Thank you so much for praying for my son-in-law Caleb this morning.  He had a horse roll completely over him, and his brother had to do CPR to get his heart beating again and his breathing started.  But now, after tests, we find him doing much better.  He has a concussion, sprained ankle, and some bruising on his brain that they are watching here at the hospital for 24 hours.  After another catscan tomorrow morning he should be able to be dismissed from the hospital here in Shattuck.

 

We truly believe that God spared his life today and praise the Lord for that.  I left Camp Good News after registration to be with Anita and Caleb, but hope to return this evening in time for the service.

 

We have about 70 children at camp and 26 staff.  A few kids didn't show up, so our camp is just a bit smaller than last year.

• Please pray for the safety of my family as they are all on the road moving Lee and Kaci to Arkansas. Kaci is driving with baby Brogan, Lee, Jarrod and Kevin, each, are driving pick ups w/trailers. Thank you so much, Lois Bohn

We have some requests for prayer:

• Thank you all for your prayers and concern for Margie’s Dad.  He is doing better this morning.  He is being treated for pneumonia and has a severe headache, but doing better.  His high fever yesterday was causing his blood sugar to bottom out, so he was really sick to his stomach and even out of his head at times.  He is a diabetic, so keeping his blood sugar in check is always touchy.  Again, thank you for your prayers.  Blessings, Pastor Tim

 

• Please pray for comfort for Dave and Vicky Gurley.  Vicky’s brother unexpectedly passed away recently. 

 

• Please pray for Jean Tucker.  She continues to have an infection and health complications.

                Please be in prayer for Margie’s Dad.  He is in the emergency room with breathing problems and possible congestive heart failure.  He only has about 1/3 of his heart muscle that is working, so this is extremely serious for him.  His name is Bill Mullett.  Please keep him in your prayers.  Thank you all, Pastor Tim

• Please pray for those traveling to Desperation today in Colorado Springs.  Pray that God will change lives and deepen relationships with Him.

We have some requests:

• Would like to request prayer that my beloved 21 year old daughter, Emily be put and kept on your prayer lists or chain. She has had problems since she was about 16 and is now addicted to drugs and alcohol and may be pregnant. She is going to a detox center and rehab. She is living with a man who is much older than she and he is an alcoholic, was in prison for selling drugs, and is emotionally abusive. She accepted Jesus and was baptized at age 9. She had always wanted to be a veterinarian when she was little and was so full of life. I am a devout follower of our Lord, Jesus Christ and believe that I am to call on my fellow believers all across the United States to help me pray for my daughter. Please stand with me and pray for her deliverance. I believe that through prayer God will change her life! Thank you and may God richly bless you! Jackie Titus

Please pray for Bill and Lin Moore of Turpin.  Lin suffered a heart attack and is in Amarillo recovering.  Please pray for complete recovery for her.

• Please pray for our upcoming VBS which starts August 1-5.  Pray for the children who will be coming, the teachers and helpers, the kitchen team, the arts and crafts team, the prayer team, the music team, the registration team, the decoration team, and the recreational team.  Pray that God will put into place the workers and volunteers.
• Thank the Lord for our country and how He has blessed us for over 200 hundred years.  Ask Him for His continued blessings.
