Please pray for Shea Pletcher.  He is having medical tests this morning at 7:30.  Pray that the doctors will be able to find what is causing Shea’s health problems.

We have some requests:

• Please pray for Bill Tigrett who is having shoulder surgery today.  Bill had polio as a child, so please pray that the conditions of polio in his body will not interfere with this surgery today.
• Please pray for Sol Padilla of Los Cruces, NM, who has had a stroke and is having triple bypass surgery tomorrow morning. He is at high risk for another stroke but has to have the surgery because of so many blockages.  This Kym Adair’s stepfather. 

 

 

URGENT

Please pray for Dub Chambers.  They are transporting him to Amarillo with renal failure.  Please pray for his family and his doctors and caregivers.

We have several requests:

• This prayer is for Ashley Woods son Austin, he's been on the prayer request before, he's 3 years old, has cancer & is in the hospital in Wichita, Ks; his twin brother has just been diagnosed with cancer also.
• Pray for comfort for the family of Wanda Manross.  Her funeral services will be here at Community Worship Center on Wednesday, January 30 at 10:00 a.m.  We will be serving a meal for the family at noon.  If you would like to bring food, please bring it by 10:45.  We will be serving 80-90 people.  Thank you for your help.
• Pray for comfort for the family of Lena Regier.  Her memorial services will be here on Thursday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m.  We will be serving a meal to the family at noon.  If you would like to bring food, please bring it by 10:45.  We will be serving 25 people.  Thank you for your help.
• Continue to pray for Foy Dorman and his recovery.
• Pastor Mike will be having tests run tomorrow.  Please continue to pray for him.

Requests/Updates

Good Afternoon:

We have some requests/updates:

• Update on my mother in-law.....Sidney and I went down Sunday to take the prayer quilt to her. She loved it and made us put it on her even though she wasn't cold. She was upbeat and shared with us a recount of the special times she's had with the Lord at night when she's alone. She said that she is at complete peace knowing that God is with her and in control. We learned this morning that she was rushed to the ER a few hours ago because of a blood clot. Please be pray for the clot to be dissolved and for the right meds to control her pain. Since moving her to the facility where she will have radiation treatments, she's been in a lot of pain. We will be with her today and I will update later. Angela Manross
• Good morning CWC! We are going to be posting some updates from Pastor Mike to help keep you informed about what is going on as he is awaiting heart surgery. We ask that you continue to keep him in your prayers on a daily basis. Our God is a healing God, and we should be expecting no less than a complete healing...
  
  Here is an update from Pastor Mike:
  I know that many people are wondering how I’m doing, so I thought I’d try posting today. I am not a Facebooker, so my friend, Jason Vanosdol, is helping me.
  
  ... I have been back to the office for a full day of work today (Tuesday). I am feeling much better since I was released from the hospital on Sunday morning. Since my blood thinner medication caused me to lose blood internally, the doctors want to do some tests to determine where and why that happened. So I am scheduled to go to Amarillo next Tuesday for an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. Hopefully they will be able to tell us more after that.
  
  My heart surgery has tentatively been set for April 24 at the Cleveland Clinic. That is good news.
  
  I still need to pace myself a bit, but I am thankful for the strength that I have.
  
  In the mean time, I’m really grateful for all your thoughts and prayers. REMEMBER GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!

Update

We have this praise report:

This is a PRAISE report for little Lettie Robinson. The doctors have weaned her off the respirator, her little lung is starting to work again, she is only on nasal oxygen as of yesterday evening, and they are weaning her off of sedation so she is beginning to be more alert. Her parents and grandparents are so grateful to all who have been praying, and they are saying, "May God bless you for all the prayers on our little Lettie's behalf!

• Please pray for Lettie Robinson, 2 week old baby, who has RSV and was airlifted to OKC.  One of her lungs collapsed and she is in critical condition.  Her grandparents are Ronny and Kate Robinson of Canadian.

• We received news from Brian Slater and family.  They are doing well but ask for continued prayer support for them and their ministry.
• Made it through the TEE procedure with no complications. It just confirmed that my valve needs surgical repair which is good news. Repair is much better than replacement. Betty and I are headed to Dallas for a few days rest. Thanks for all your prayers! Pastor Mike

We have an update/request this evening:

• Thanks for all the prayers today. I completed my heart cath with no trouble. The dr says I need to have surgery on my leaking heart valve. I go in tomorrow morning to have another test to seep close how the valve looks. After that we will decide where to have the surgery done... Pray for wisdom. Betty and I will head to Dallas for a few days of r & r. Thanks again for your prayers, I feel great, and plan to keep it that way. PM (Pastor Mike)
• Please pray for Wanda Manross who was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Corpus Christi.  They are staying in Rockport.  She has fluid on her lungs and possibly a mass in her lung tissue.
