• Please pray for John Roose. He is in the hospital (in Indiana) struggling with COPD. He is on morphine just to make him comfortable and the doctors have said there really is nothing they can do for him. They have told the family it is just a matter of time.
• Jaele Shaver—health problems. She is home but is on oxygen now.  Please pray for her recovery.
• Nelda McDaniels—heart attack

• Please pray for Matt who is facing several trials, but is trying to keep faith that God is in control.
• Please pray for a couple who heavily burden with several issues.  They are starting a ministry to reach out to others who are in need.  Satan is coming against them and does not want this to happen.
• Please pray for Frank Stamps who is struggling with health issues.
• Unspoken request.

 

Blessed is he who has regard for the weak;

   the Lord delivers him in times of trouble.

The Lord will protect him and preserve his live;

   He will bless him in the land

   and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.

The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed

    and restore him from his bed of illness.

Just got this, please pray for this need too.

 

I just received a phone call from Jody Richeson, she is Junior Richeson's wife.  Their daughter Jasmine Carlson has had another reoccurance of brain cancer.  There are four small tumors - too small for surgery - that have cropped up.  Jasmine is again facing chemotherapy and radiation.  They attend First Baptist Church and "Jazzy" is a Junior at Darrouzett High School.  This is the third time that Jasmine has been through cancerous brain tumors; but both she and her family remain faithful.

 Jasmine has never thought that she couldn't beat this and plans to be a missionary.  Doctors in Amarillo offered no hope and they are currently in Dallas seeing a brain tumor specialist.  The doctor's in Amarillo told Jody, her mother to start thinking about "quality of life...not quantity of life".  Jody told them that she thought that decision was up to Jasmine.  Jaz is a fighter.  That's why they are in Dallas.  She is not ready to surrender and is trusting the Lord that she will be healed.

 Please lift her and her family in prayer as they battle yet another attack.

Update

Good Afternoon:

We have an update and request:

 

• I wanted to update you on my mom:
  She has undergone several procedures to take care of the LARGE kidney stone that was found after her wreck in September. It is still not completely gone and the doctor in Amarillo is sending her to a specialist in Dallas on April 15th.
  Last week my dad was very short of breath and after several tests, they found multiple blood clots in his lungs and one large one in his leg. He has been in the hospital since last Thursday. He will be getting a filter put in today at noon. More than likely he will be on blood thinners the rest of his life but, we still have him and the doctor said we were very lucky for that!
  I just pray that life settles down and we will all be very healthy from this point forward! God is still in charge!

We have some prayer needs today:

 

• My niece Sheri Chambers Blau gave birth to a beautiful baby boy yesterday morning but experienced complications after the delivery. She was airlifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City last night where the doctors performed emergency surgery. She is in stable condition at this time but has received a complete blood transfusion and is on a ventilator to help her breathing due to the fact that she is a severe asthmatic. They will remove the vent in 24 hrs but she will remain in the hospital for 4-5 days. Baby Jax is doing well. Thanks for your continued prayers.

• Please continue to pray for Willy Lopez who is in surgery to remove a brain tumor.  Pray for his doctors, nurses, and all caregivers.  Pray especially for his family during this time.

Good afternoon all,       

                Please continue to lift Judy Schell to the Lord in prayer.  She visited with her oncologist in OKC on Thursday.  They would like to put her in a experimental study and she has to make a decision about that as well as totally leave her treatment in their hands.  They may decide to do the conventional treatment or do an experimental treatment.  She would like for us to pray the Lord will direct those in the program to make the decision that is GOD’s decision.  Please lift this need in prayer.  Thank you for interceding.  Blessings, PT

Thank you for your obedience to our Lord.

Pray for Danny Thurman and God’s touch for complete healing. He was unable to have the special surgical procedure recommended because of a blood clot but will be in the hospital for 5-6 days. Pray for both he and Carolyn as they deal with this.

• We have a final court date but it is still two months away.  Please pray for Justin and Lizzie, they have been having a hard time with nightmares after visit.  Nothing has changed with their parents.  They have given more names of family but CPS does not think they will be suitable.  Please keep praying for all this to be resolved.  We pray God's will be done and we hope and pray His will be they stay with us forever.
